I am Christina, a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the HCPC and CSP, with a BSc Hons degree and additional qualification in Sports Massage Therapy. My passion for physiotherapy began on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition. After tripping over a tree root, I was told to “walk it off”- only to discover three frustrating days later that I had a strained ligament. That experience, and the feeling of not being heard, sparked my interest in the mechanics of injury, the science of pain, and how we can continue to move effectively and safely during recovery.

As someone with scoliosis and hypermobility, both of which went undiagnosed until my twenties, I’ve personally experienced the frustrations of physical limitations. These conditions have impacted everything from daily life to my athletic pursuits in hockey, racket sports, and rock climbing. But they’ve also fuelled my passion for understanding whole-body biomechanics and the importance of optimal muscle recruitment. This shapes my practice today, where I focus on getting to the root of the pain and delivering evidence-based rehabilitation that fits into the demands of real, busy lives.

Fun fact: Anyone who knew me before I was qualified will tell you I used to trip over my own feet daily – not just tree roots!

“I have just been for a Remedial massage session with Christina she was amazing. My shoulders neck and back feel so much more looser, relaxed and less painful.

Christina took time to listen to my ailments and complaints and was very understanding and caring. I cannot wait for my next session and cannot recommend her highly enough.”
